Private Lessons

Bloom school of music offers private instruction in piano, voice, acoustic guitar,
electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, violin, viola, saxophone, clarinet, cello and flute.

Private lessons are given once a week and registration is ongoing. No need to bring amplifiers, guitar/bass equipment or drums. There is a waiting room outside the teaching rooms and coffee and shops nearby for your convenience. All rooms are air-conditioned.

Learn in a relaxed, encouraging and creative atmosphere where students learn at their own pace. Performance opportunities include an annual Spring Recital, Composer's Living Room Concerts, Winter Sing, Family Music Night, Ensemble Performances and Multiple Performance Workshop Concerts."

Intro to Violin- (5-7 years)

This class is for the beginner who is confident that violin is the instrument of choice, but may not feel ready for a 30 minute private lesson. This class is restricted to only 6 students. This is a very fun class with students learning the early fundamentals of creating a beautiful sound and intonation with activities to introduce solid technique. The curriculum is a mix of Suzuki and traditional curriculum.

 Intro to Keyboard (5-7 years)

This class is for the beginner who is confident that piano is the instrument of choice, but may not feel ready for a 30 minute private lesson. This class is restricted to only 6 students. Students will learn beginning music theory including reading and writing of rhythms, music alphabet, names of notes on the piano, write their own story-song and improvise as well!

 Beginning Guitar (7-11yrs & 12 and up)

This is an intro to guitar class for beginning students. In this class we will focus on fundamental guitar skills and techniques such as basic music reading, chord strumming, picking, basic scales and ensemble playing. Most of the concepts will be taught through fun and familiar songs. Students bring their own guitar. Materials will be provided.

*All Group Classes have parent performances scheduled at least 4 times a year.

Group Instrumental Classes are not to take the place of private lessons. These classes are offered specifically to help students gain fundamentals that will make their transition to private lessons a more positive and confident experience.
