Piano and keyboard lessons are available for children and adults 6 and up. Some parents may want to start earlier. See below for more information.

The piano is a wonderful first instrument and taught at Bloom by University trained teachers who are versed in many styles including classical, pop, rock, jazz, Latin and RnB. Every lesson is augmented by our lessontrack.net system which documents each lesson's material online for easy recall at home during the week.

We recommend 30 min. lessons to start and an increase in lesson time only if the situation demands.

Bloom also offers plenty of performance opportunities - Spring Recital, Family Music Night, Composition Recital - to excite and motivate the young musician.

For those families who are interested in piano but the child is 5 or just turning 6, Bloom offers the Music Fundamentals "Pick an Instrument" class. We recommend waiting at least till the spring of your child's kindergarten year and that's only if you've had our Music Fundamentals Class. It's important not to start too early! This class will provide an intro to the piano as well as allow the child to learn some fundamental musical concepts that will help make private instrument study positive and exciting.
